From China Ocean Law Society, Institute of Ocean Development Strategy of the State Oceanic Administration, Second Institute of Oceanography, Cross-Strait Relations Law Research Association, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Wuhan University, Xiamen University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, China Ocean More than 30 representatives from research institutes and universities of the Petroleum Corporation attended the seminar.

The conference focused on cross-strait cooperation in the South China Sea arbitration and promoting cross-strait cooperation. The report, discussion and exchanges on the situation and impact after the South China Sea arbitration case, the legal status of the island reef, and the cooperation and development of the South China Sea across the Taiwan Strait. The representatives of the two sides of the strait held in-depth discussions and exchanges on the fallacies of the South China Sea arbitration ruling, the current situation and challenges facing the South China Sea, and the cooperation between the two sides in the direction of the South China Sea, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions.

This meeting is the first symposium to deal with arbitration jointly held by scholars on both sides of the strait after the South China Sea arbitration case.
