The Department of Ocean Law and Politics was established on August 1, 2014 and is part of the College of Ocean Law and Policy. The establishment of the Department of Marine Law and Politics echoes the national "ocean-state" policy and the promotion of the Ocean Commission. The Department emphasizes the characteristics of "Marine Law and Politics" and designs two major professional empowerment courses, "Ocean Law" and "Ocean Policy". The program aims to the cultivation of talents in marine law, marine policy, and ocean affairs.
